I'm really excited to see what I can do once tapered and shaved for Russian Championships, I definitely think I can be faster and improve this record!» - said Salvador Vieira Gordo (Angola).

«I am really happy, I broke my record for 50 backs after almost 2 year. Feeling not the best, but still I managed to make it. It was a nice swim overall» - said Bisma Khan.

"The second day of the Russian Swimming Cup went well. The results of all athletes are satisfactory, especially considering our current stage of training. Great news, Salvador set a new record of Angola in the 100m Butterfly and Bisma set a new record of Pakistan in the 50m Backstroke. Franci also showed a good result, considering the fact, that it was his first start after a long break. Saddam improved his score by 4 seconds. Ado was also able to improve his time after the Tatarstan Swimming Cup in January 2021. Some are still getting used to the environment, but I think that participating in any competition is a real experience," - commented Pavel, coach of the FINA Development Center team in Kazan.

Tomorrow is the last day of the competition. Disciplines in which our athlete will perform: 50m Freestyle, 50m Back, 400m Freestyle. We wish good luck to our athletes and we are waiting for a new national records and personal best time!
