«Before the competition I was very nervous, but after it started, I relaxed to be able to concentrate on the jumps. This was my first competition after a long break and it helped me to see how my jumps were and to be able to compare myself with the next competitions», - commented Carlos.
«I felt a bit nervous in the competition, because the competition had a high level, I didn't feel very well because two days before I got sick, but I tried to do my best. Anyway, I'm happy to be able to be here and compete with the best of Russia», - said Alejandro.
The head diving coach Pavel Muiakin said, that they almost had no time to prepare for the Cup. Alejandro and Carlos have just arrived in Kazan and they still need time to adapt to the new environment: «I just really wanted to make our guys to believe in themselves, to see how the strongest Russian divers perform».
Congratulations to our divers! It was a very unusual experience! Next stage of the Russian Cup will be held in Moscow Region in the Ruza city in April. We hope that divers of our Centre will be able to take part on the following competition!
