On March 10-12, 2021, the qualifying stage of the Russian Swimming Cup will be held in Penza. Athletes from the FINA Development Centre in Kazan will also take part in competitions:

Ranko Tepavcevic - the head of the FINA Development Centre in Kazan expresses deepest gratitude to the Russian swimming Federation for the allowance to take part in the competitions.

"For athletes, these competitions will have a very positive effect in terms of psychological aspect and changing the environment. Last week we did a progress check, which showed very good progress of all athletes. Therefore, we are positively disposed towards these competitions in terms of results, but nevertheless, we expect the best results at the National Championship in April",- commented Pavel Kutashev, swimming coach at the FINA Development Centre in Kazan.

«I am looking forward and excited about the competition in Penza. It will be a good opportunity to race again, and get the blood and racing juices flowing! Hopefully Penza is one of the many cities we get to visit in Russia!» - said Habibat Abiola Moyosore Ogunbanwo from Nigeria.

We are glad that we will take part in these competitions with such a large international team. Participation in competitions is a great opportunity to test yourself, change the environment and learn how to support each other. We believe that our team will unite even more, and the results will show our progress and indicate the further vector of development.
