Today on the 11th of March, the first diver from Colombia - Alejandro Solarte Osorio arrived in Kazan!

«When I found out that I was coming to Kazan, I felt many emotions at the same time because I had never had such a great opportunity, to be able to leave my country and train with people from other countries. When I received the news that I was selected for the FINA Scholarship, I was very happy and excited to fulfill this dream. I am very excited to finally arrive in Kazan, the wait seemed very long but here we are with a lot of excitement and wanting to start training. My goals for this year, first of all, is to improve, to be able to have some very good training sessions, to make the most of the implementation and everything they offer me. My closest and greatest goal is to be able to be among the first 18 in the world cup in order to obtain the place for Colombia in the Olympic games. Also, I want to have new knowledge living with other athletes from different countries and I know that here in Kazan they will help me a lot to achieve my goals.
