The first edition of the FINA World Junior Diving Championships was organised in 1977. The tournament is held every two years, bringing together young prospects from the strongest nations in the sport to compete at world level. junior athletes compete in two age groups: Group A (divers from 16 to 18 years old) and Group B (divers from 14 to 15 years old).
