Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin attended the open training session of the Tatiana Pokrovskaya School

Today, an open training session was held at the Tatiana Pokrovskaya School under the guidance of Merited Coach of Russia, Head Coach of the Russian National Artistic Swimming team Marina Terekhova and Merited Coach of Russia, Head Coach of the Russian Junior National team Natalia Mendygalieva. The training took place at the modern sports complex "Rowing Centre" of the Volga Region Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The leading Artistic Swimming coaches of the Republic of Tatarstan and students of the Aquatic Sports Department of the Volga Region Academy participated in the training.

The open training was attended by the Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin and the Minister of Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov.

During the conversation, Olga Pavlova, Vice-President of the Russian Synchronised Swimming Federation, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Merited Coach of Russia, announced that the School of Pokrovskaya has created one of the best conditions for Artistic Swimming, using the most innovative technical equipment. However, the uniqueness of the school is not only in this, but in exclusive methods and approaches that the school acquired together with the name of the world Artistic Swimming legend - Tatiana Pokrovskaya.

Along with this, Olga Pavlova also outlined the issue that worries Russian coaches and Artistic Swimming specialists – the adoption of new federal standards for the sport.

This will make it possible to more effectively and efficiently organize the training process of the sports reserve, to implement all the social guarantees for coaches and specialists.

In conclusion, young artistic swimmers presented Oleg Matytsin with the logo of the School of Tatiana Pokrovskaya.
