After three weeks of intensive trainings, our FINA Development Center athletes are ready to show fast seconds again at the Republic of Tatarstan swimming championships, which will be held in Kazan "Akcharlak" pool from January 27 to 29, 2022. Let's note that the competition will take place in the 50m pool and the first start of Long course season, which will help athletes to switch and focus on the key "Olympic" distances.

Our team of FINA Development Center scholarship holders will be represented by nine swimmers. Everyone faces the main task – to make personal bests, break national record.

Besides, our FINA Development Center team will be represented by a graduate of the program that completed it in 2021, namely:

January 29 - 100m backstroke, 200m Individual Medley

Lorena de los Angeles Gonzalez Mendoza (Cuba) told about her expectations and what results she is ready for:
