Getting ready for the 1st day of the Russian Diving Cup
Yesterday, on February 7, the scholarship FINA Development Centre from Kazan arrived in Penza (Russia) to take part in the Russian Diving Cup (February 8-13). Upon arrival, the athletes were accommodated in the Azimut Hotel - the first Russian hotel chain to be represented on the international market.

Today, February 8, the first training day was held at the Burtasy pool.

Frandiel Gomez (Dominican Republic), Irakli Sakandelidze (Georgia) and Sebastian Konecki (Lithuania) are taking part in the Russian Diving Cup.

«The pool in Penza is small, but organized very well. There are everything you need for diving. The first training went smoothly, I got used to the environment and the springboard»- commented Sebastian Konecki.

"Burtasy - is a good pool, so the first training session went very well. Lots of talented athletes also arrived in Penza, so I have a good example to follow to and learn something new for me. Today we tried very hard to train in order to show our best result in the competition tomorrow",- said Irakli Sakandelidze.

Tomorrow is the first day of competition and we wish the best to our athletes!
