Pavel Kutashev - the coach of the FINA Development Centre in Kazan told us some information about the upcoming championship: "This Championship is the first competition in 2021. For all of our athletes, this championship presents its own challenges. Ado Gargovic has just finished his quarantine and started training, but for Salvador Vieira Gordo the first day of the competition will be the first time in the pool this year. Despite of this, we decided that guys still need to swim distances to check their progress in the future. Arina and Bisma have done a great work in the water and in the gym in last 3 weeks of 2021, so we will use the results of these competitions to track their current skills and progress after the competition. Unfortunately, Davor Petrovski will not take part due to the injury. I am really looking forward to see our athletes in conditions of competitions. As a coach, I also missed the competition and the feelings of excitement of my athletes during events. At the moment, I will be happy to see any results, the most important thing for me is that the swimmers try to do the maximum."

We wish our swimmers good luck! Despite the fact, that many of the new athletes have not trained for a long time, the championship will be a good start for everyone, so that everyone can check themselves and find out what to work on in the future.
