The capital of Tatarstan hosted international Artistic Swimming competitions during the 16th FINA World Championships in 2015, Summer Universiade in 2013, and FINA World Junior Artistic Swimming Championships in 2016.
The sports programme featured competitions in such events as team (technical and free routine), solo (technical and free routine), duet, duet combination (technical and free routine), combined programme, acrobatic team.
