Today on the 18 of March, divers of the FINA Development Centre in Kazan took part in the 2^nd day of the Russian Champions Diving Cup.

Needless to point out the fact, that our scholarship holders were competing with the strongest Russian divers.

The 2^nd day of the Russian Champions Diving Cup was performed by Frandiel Gomez (Dominican Republic) and Irakli Sakandelidze (Georgia) on the 3m trampoline.

The results of the day:
Frandiel Gomez (107B, 307C, 407C, 109C, 205B, 5154B) - 328,60
Irakli Sakandelidze (405C, 107C, 205B, 305C, 5152C, 5351C) - 270,10

«This competition has helped me to realize some mistakes and to experiment with my new diving programme, at the same time, I had a lot of experience competing together with the best Russian divers. Also, I would like to say that here, in Kazan, I feel like I'm at home, I like to train here and to take part in the competition» - said Frandiel.

«At first, I was very afraid of today's competitions, but then I relaxed and the fear disappeared. As a result, I got a great experience, learning from the strong Russian divers today», - said Irakli.

Tomorrow is the last competition day, Alejandro Solarte Osorio (Colombia) and Carlos Daniel Ramos Rodríguez (Cuba) will perform their programme.
