Today on the 18 of March, divers of the FINA Development Centre in Kazan took part in the 2nd day of the Russian Champions Diving Cup.
Needless to point out the fact, that our scholarship holders were competing with the strongest Russian divers.
The 2nd day of the Russian Champions Diving Cup was performed by Frandiel Gomez (Dominican Republic) and Irakli Sakandelidze (Georgia) on the 3m trampoline.
The results of the day:
Frandiel Gomez (107B, 307C, 407C, 109C, 205B, 5154B) - 328,60
Irakli Sakandelidze (405C, 107C, 205B, 305C, 5152C, 5351C) - 270,10
«This competition has helped me to realize some mistakes and to experiment with my new diving programme, at the same time, I had a lot of experience competing together with the best Russian divers. Also, I would like to say that here, in Kazan, I feel like I'm at home, I like to train here and to take part in the competition» - said Frandiel.
«At first, I was very afraid of today's competitions, but then I relaxed and the fear disappeared. As a result, I got a great experience, learning from the strong Russian divers today», - said Irakli.
Tomorrow is the last competition day, Alejandro Solarte Osorio (Colombia) and Carlos Daniel Ramos Rodríguez (Cuba) will perform their programme.
